PicsArt - Photo Studio receives new effects, filters, and masks
Image editor PicsArt - Photo Suite now offers even more ways to customise your photos, thanks to a host of new effects, filters, and masks. Camera enthusiasts will be pleased to discover that classic effects like posterization and motion blur can now be applied to captured images. There's also a teeth-whitening option for those million-dollar smiles, and some "advanced" distortion effects to boot.
Beta version of VLC media player available for testing on Google Play
An Android version of VLC, the popular PC-based media player, is now available on Google Play in beta form. Embraced by the PC community for its out-of-the-box support of numerous video codecs (.avi, .mp4, and more), VLC has become a regular feature on the Start menus and desktops of heavy-duty media users. Now, Android fans can help make VLC a must-have app for video and audio enthusiasts by putting the mobile beta through its paces.
