If you’re an ongoing adventurer in the land of MU simply aching for fresh features to see and discover, developer Webzen has got you covered as the colossal new update 1.7 hits the game. Bringing with it all new events, systems, and modes, it’s time to get your fantasy on like never before in MU Origin.
The first sight to see comes in the form of a daily all-server event known as Battle Core, which can be accessed any time between 12:30-13:30, 16:30-17:30, and 22:00-23:00. In it, players compete in real-time against those of an equal level, aiming to be the first to claim 1,000 points. Those that are successful have plenty of EXP, fame points, and achievements to look forward to, so gathering those chalices might just be worthwhile.
Mu Origin’s new update 1.7 also brings with it Battlefield of Heroes, a new PVP system beyond servers that lets up to 100 warriors do battle with each other in a bid to gain points for their rewards. Each team of 50 will be tasked to hunt, mine, and battle in an effort to trump the opposing camp every Tuesday and Friday between 21:00-22:25.
Finally, there’s a whole new suite of systems to master and play around with, each capable of majorly influencing how players interact with the MU Origin experience. Of particular note is update 1.7’s introduction of the Soul Stone system, which presents players with the opportunity to upgrade characters with unique elemental abilities – a first for the mobile MMORPG.
Various subtle fixes and tweaks also tiptoe their way into the update, so there’s no better time to check out MU Origin’s content new or old. With limited-time in-game rewards waiting for those who get in early, update 1.7 is free to download now on iOS and Android devices.
